Hey friends and family! So the virus thing came to Ecuador and everyone freaked out, but now everyone is back to normal... don't know if it like just stopped or what, but now nobody talks about it. I'll keep you updated haha!
It was a really good week!!! It flew by real quick honestly. We were teaching a young man about what the church of God should be called using 3 Nephi 27 where it says if the church be named after Moses, then it's Moses´ church. But if it's the church of Christ, then it should have the name of Christ. Well so, to see if he understood, we asked him the question, "so who should the church of Christ be named after?" And he looked so happy when he yelled "MOSES" (facepalm)
Whenever I tell people here that we don't eat a lot of rice in the states, they look at me so weird and just don't understand how we live. When I tell them that we eat a lot more meat, they just look at me like it all makes sense and say "well that's why everyone is so fat" hahaha!
Last night, I was able to share my testimony with a return missionary who was kind of falling off the path. He didn't understand why he couldn't ever choose that right choice. Especially after his mission. I shared a video with him from the 12 Steps to Change videos. Step 5 about Moroni. It really touched his heart. He could see that even after lots of things that we do for the Lord, Satan still tempts us. But God will always have his arms open toward us to bring us back to Him. I love this gospel so much.
