Hunter's mission came to an end on April 2, 2020 due to the Coronavirus or COVID-19. All missionaries are being sent home to either finish their missions or to be reassigned to their home country. Since Hunter was close to 20 months in the mission, he was released from service for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints when he arrived home on Thursday, April 2. This worldwide pandemic is HIGHLY contagious and has killed thousands, closed schools, closed businesses, has everyone sheltering at home, and is harming the economy. But it is leading to closer family interactions, worldwide fasts, and countries working together to battle this virus. We are so grateful that Hunter is home safe and sound. We will now quarantine for 14 days and pray that he did not contract the virus in Ecuador or in his travels.
