Hello friends and family!!!! Happy Holidays!!!!! I don't have too much time but here we go- I'm gonna describe it all!!!
This week was great! We were walking around on Christmas day and here they have some activity where they get a huge bamboo pole and lather it up with oil and put a ton of gifts at the top. Then they tell the 40 kids that live in the neighborhood to climb the pole hahaha!!! I have a fantastic video to send you next week of the one that made it to the top!!!! You'll all be shocked on how he did it. While we were watching though we contacted a family that was watching as well and they all came to an activity that we did in the church!!!! Great things are happening here!!
I ate oysters. Not a fan. Not the grossest thing I've eaten here, but that was absolutely awful haha!! I also got bit by a dog but thats fine, the only thing that happened was it put holes in my pants. I was just walking up a hill and it ran out of a house and got my leg! I now know how the mailmen feel.
Tonight, everyone is going to explode their homemade piñata bombs (monigotes) I will take videos of it so that you can all see what goes on haha!!! I hope I'll get to see some of it from my house :(
My last Christmas in the mission! It was great honestly a member invited all our zone over to his house to eat and we just kept eating and eating and eating until we were full! It was really amazing. He told us that he always invites the missionaries over to eat with him on Christmas and that he always can see the blessings from doing so.
I love these people. They are helping me become the man the Lord wants me to be. I love you all as well and I am going to finish this last year as strong as I can!!! I'll talk to you all next year! (haha corny joke)
