Hello everyone and welcome back!!!
This week, we did a service project where we helped a man build his house. We basically took all the brick that he had bought that was left in his yard and took it up the roof of his house so that he could keep on putting up walls. We had a pretty good system worked out where I would take the brick off the top of the pile and pass it to the next person and made a conveyor belt kind of thing. I took one brick off the pile and saw something huge move. I moved a few more bricks and then saw the biggest spider I have ever seen in my life. With the leg span, it was literally the size of my face- it was wonderful! I constantly ask myself where am I haha!
This week we worked really hard with the inactive members and we were able to have a really successful meeting on Sunday as a lot of the people we visited showed up at church! It was just such a moment of great joy entering in and giving a hug to a few Elders I had only met once but that were just so happy to be in the church again! My companion and I also had the chance to give talks and I shared about trusting in the Lord through anything. After the meeting, many of the members came up to me and told me that talks like that were what the congregation needed every single week. They then told us that we were going to be writing the talks for the members to give haha!!!
Its been a great week in the service, but this week will be even better!! I hope you all have the best week ever! Go out and share the love of Christ with everyone you possibly can!
