TO THE NIGHT October 21, 2019

HERE we are again back in calm Valencia!!!!! Welcome back friends and family!!!

This week we were talking to some people in the middle of actual nowhere and they said that they were thinking about baptizing their 4 year old son. We asked why they were planning on baptizing him so young and they told us "because he talks to Him." I was like "what, who's Him?" and they were like "he sits up at like 3 in the morning every morning and just starts mumbling." "How long has this been happening?" "Ever since the neighbor passed away in the house next door." We explained that he needed a blessing. We went back with permission and took care of it all. It's nice to be back in normal Ecuador.

We traveled like an hour into the banana farms this week and found a new town that has NEVER seen missionaries before!!!! We were having an absolute hay day contacting and getting to know everyone!!!! Then we turned the corner and ran into a Jehovahs Witness chapel where half the town was gathered... Wonderful.

The family Ganchozo Rivera got baptized!!!!!!!! I love them all so much and I'm so happy for them. I honestly couldn't love Ecuador more. It's just such amazing experiences around every single corner. Their picture is found down in the bottom!!!! The mom got up and bore her testimony after the baptism about how the change God has made in her is the most amazing thing she has experienced ever. I love the mission.

So there's a joke I like to play on people here. I say I'm from Manabi because they are like whiter there and they kinda look like me. But I always say that I am just missing my hat and my machete. I showed up to the house of my convert one day and she said, "the gringo Manaba isn't missing his machete anymore." I was like what does that mean? Check out the pics.

I love you all!!!!!!!!!
