During this season, everyone likes to make something called purple colada. It's basically a drink that they serve hot and just throw literally any kind of fruit that they want in it. Not bad! My convert, Betty invited us to drink some and I asked what they needed to make it. She was telling me that they used a bone from someone in the drink. I jokingly asked if I was drinking a dead mans leg in that moment and my other convert, Ricardo, who only has one leg, looked at me and said, "I'm not dead yet."
Family and Friends its so good to be back!!!! Lets go!
Tuesday we all got together with my group of missionaries around me to have a multizone conference. At the end of the multizone conference, we were supposed to do a service project. We got all changed up and ready and when we gathered back together, my president told us that it was a trick for us to bring exercise clothes.... For the next 2 hours they kicked our trash with exercises haha! All this because a lot of people are getting really fat because of rice in the mission (me).
Everything else here is really fantastic! One last story that I want to share with all of you is about Bryan the Fireman. He called us over one day at the fire station when we were walking by and he told us that he wanted us to pass his house and help him understand more about our church because he wants to join. We've been visiting him a lot and he came to church yesterday! He has learned a lot of english in his life and yesterday he looked at me during the middle of the meeting and asked me if it was normal for him to want to cry during the meeting. I explained to him that he was feeling the spirit and that through feelings like that, he was going to come to know that the church is true. I love this work.
I love you all so much and I'm so thankful for all of you in my life! Thank you for all the love and support!
