FESTIVALES DE VALENCIA October 7, 2019

FAMILY AND FRIENDS!!! I just have no clue where to start - this week was just so full of adventures.

So I don't know if you have heard, but Ecuador right now is having some troubles with civil unrest. The president changed something and everyone said "not my country" and are now not happy. Just so you know, my town is relatively calm and not much happens here.

EXCEPT FOR THE FESTIVALS OF VALENCIA. This week we celebrated the birth of Valencia with concerts, pizza, and lots of shops!!!! Well ,people of Valencia did. We preached the gospel while all this was happening. The riots put a damper on all things though because barely anyone showed up to sell their stuff because the streets are all blocked off with trees now and the buses aren't running. I still bought a pretty nice looking poncho though! Alipacha!!

Can we talk about the Lord of the Rings reference from Elder Uchtdorf? You all know how much I love Lord of the Rings.

Conference was fantastic!!!!! Because of the problems, all the chapels were locked shut, so we went to members houses and even watched the Sunday morning session with the family that is going to be baptized this weekend!!! It was really amazing and I received so much revelation. Keep true to the covenants that you have made with God. Show him how much this gospel means to you.

I love you all so much!!! Don't worry about me down here, I walk with the Lord in his service. I would like to ask you all to pray for the people of Ecuador. I love them so much.
