This week I found out just how lucky I am! We will have the blessing to be visited by Elder Bednar this week! That will be my third apostle as a missionary woohooo revelation!!!
Family and friends I love you all so much! Sadly our baptism didn't happen this week because the girl that's going to get baptized is pregnant and had to go to a doctors appointment but don't you worry, she is excited to be baptized this week! pictures to come! We also have a few baptisms coming up on the 8th!
This week, we put a baptism date with two people who have been investigating the church for 8 years now. This is the only time they have accepted a baptism date. Why? The wife's birthday is on June 12. My birthday is on June 12th. I said "hey we can have your baptisms and then a party at the church afterwards!" She was like "that sounds amazing!!!!" Wooohooo I'm so happy for that! Also, her husband is going to get baptized, but he only has one leg so we are going to see what happens there. Perfect way to celebrate my birthday!
There are these little 3 wheeled motor carts called "tricis" that drive around all the city where we are and we take them everywhere! But when the streets flood, they just look like little boats flying through the streets. They will literally go anywhere though. Anywhere.
We took a trip to a place called little Zion where we have a ton of converts! The place is super rural though and it's exactly what you think about when you think Ecuador. Like machete slashing huge grass to find the houses. Don't you worry though, the tricis still drove us there. Pictures are under!
