So this week I got a haircut from someone who made me look 15 and everyone we talked to this week asked me why they were sending kids out to preach. wonderful pfffftt hahaha!
We had two of our investigators come to church this week!!!! One of them is named Josue and the other Richardo! Both are super amazing! Josue is the most energetic businessman that I have ever met that has the biggest heart and the biggest desire to learn. Richardo is a little more worried about coming to church but he is really accepting of what we teach and loves his family so much and just wants to find peace in his life. I love the people we are working with so much.
Something that really touched me this week was one of our lessons with Josue. Our lesson plan got thrown out of the window because he was asking us questions about all sides of the church. When we finally pulled it all together in the end, we told him that he could receive his own personal answer from God that all these things were true. We could see that hit him. Who wouldn't want their own answer from God? He told us that he can feel something different whenever we visit him. Almost like he's been being prepared for this moment in his life. He told us that he was going to pray for his answer. when he came to church on Sunday, I asked him how his prayers have been. He just looked at me, gave me a hug, and told me that he was happy to be there. wow.
We were walking down a road one day with one of our ward missionaries. Everyone here has a castle wall that blocks their house here from the outside wall but usually with little slits that you can look inside. I took a peek through one and saw a Grandma sitting in a wheelchair with a 5 year old child standing next to her Spraying his fully clothed Grandma with a hose. She wasn't moving or anything. Just sopping wet taking it like a champ. pffffffffft hahahaha seriously one of the funniest things I've seen so far. I was dying!
I love you all so much! I want to send a quick shout out to Brayden and Sav who are going to be getting married this week! I wish so much that I could be there to party it up on the dance floor, but thats why my cardboard cutout will be there in my place! I wish the best to the both of you and to the rest, go eat their cake and take a picture with my cardboard cutout and send it to me!!!!
