Family and friends here I am again!
The rainy season is rapidly leaving and now I don't have an excuse for always being wet. I just never stop sweating.
Taste Of Ecuador:
For every meal, they begin with a nice bowl of Piping hot soup. In Ecuador. Where it's always hot. Why hot soup? not even the Ecuadorians know why. I love it!
Yesterday we were out contacting with some members and there was just like nobody in the streets to talk to, so we resorted to calling on doors. (everyone has a huge wall and fence so we cant knock.) We came up to one house and I called to let them know that someone was out front. I looked through the gate, made eye contact with someone in the house right as they slammed the door. Then somewhere else in the house a door slammed. Then from somewhere near the back of the house a door slammed. We all seriously died laughing haha!
Adriana is amazing! This week has been amazing getting to teach her and helping her come to know more about Christ. every lesson we have with her is just so spiritually powerful and I've never seen anyone progress so fast. On Friday she told us that she had made the decision to get baptized. She will be baptized on the 20th :) Really though I've come to know the definition of prepared. When we taught about tithing, her question wasn't why do we pay tithing, but HOW do we pay tithing! She joined in with us on Saturday to fast. Im so lucky to be blessed to work with her. I know for a fact that the Lord is preparing the elect and guiding the faithful!
I love you all and I'm so happy to be in the service of the Lord. Sometimes we climb mountains in the work. sometimes we climb mountains in our lives. I challenge you to always put your trust in the Lord. Trust him to lead you to the blessings that are prepared for you. You will see miracles.
