Largo is paradise! So much good happening here and everyone is so amazing! I met a member family the first day I was here and they called me elder sopa and now my nickname to everyone in the branch is elder sopa so wonderful, back to 2nd grade haha!
We are teaching someone who speaks a dialect of Spanish named mam! Exactly like you would say mom but mam. He doesn't speak much English or Spanish but we use a ton of pictures and videos to explain everything and his brother translates what he knows for him! He is progressing awesomely! When I came into the house they kept saying like 'shports' and I was like why in the world are you saying sports so weird? That's how you say soccer in mam. Whoops.
I just gave another book of Mormon to a Jehovah's witness that cut my hair! She s from Cuba and said we could come back anytime we wanted as long as we could talk about the bible as well haha!
We play soccer every saturday nights with the Spanish branch and Spanish people around us and I have to say, they go hard. If you make even one mistake they get so mad haha! They are so amazing though it was so much fun!
Life as a missionary is fantastic! The work is fantastic! Elder young is amazing! We are working so hard and we have a lot of good things coming. Goal of 4 baptisms this month and we are super close to hitting it. We have the names just need to dunk them!!!
