ELDER, MIRE ESE NUBE November 19, 2018

How is it going everyone! So thankful to be back with you all when thanksgiving is so close around the corner that you can almost taste it!!

I sadly don't have plenty of time today because we are ending pday early to go to some lessons, but that doesn't mean I don't have stories to share! So lets get into some!

On Wednesday! Our book of mormon class is just always so interesting hahaha! We are reading in Mosiah 2 and during our reading, one of the ladies stopped us after a verse and said, "does anything stand out to you in that verse?" after a second of trying to let someone else respond, I said, "He will bless you immediately." She looked me dead in the eye and said, "man I could kiss you." OH. Everyone said I went so red hahaha! I still got it ;) (shes also like 80)

We had specialized training on Friday which I learned so so so much from! But my favorite part was in the beginning when we were going around complimenting our companions and I looked at Elder Bailey and said, "your determination to work is the reason I get out of bed every morning." In the most straight faced way possible. Everyone died laughing for a good 3 minutes haha!

Saturday night was super interesting, we were about to head back in after about 2 hours of walking around a trailer park and not having much success. it was almost 9 so we were heading back to our car, when I looked up at the sky and saw a cloud that looked exactly like a five! Well of course that is a sign, so we decided to stay five more minutes. That extra five minutes was the most successful 5 minutes of our day! We met 4 people and got 3 return appointments! Just goes to show that the lord is walking right alongside his missionaries.

We got the opportunity to speak this sunday on being grateful! I loved studying the topic and learning so much from it. I especially loved a talk from President Thomas S. Monson that is older than I am! It is called Think to Thank and it is from the October session of conference in 1998! He shares an amazing story in there about a news article for a boy that only wanted a bike! If you get the chance, give it a read! Everyone said our talks were amazing though and just completely filled the chapel with the spirit. Can't teach without the spirit!!

Thats all the time I have for this week but know that the work in Plant City is amazing! Carlos is getting baptized this sunday and I can't wait to share that with all of you! I have pictures as well!

Happy thanksgiving everyone, be thankful for all that you have and especially give thanks to the source of all of those blessings!

Until next week,

Elder Campbell
