Do you all miss me yet??? It has officially been a month! That is so crazy to think about! If my whole mission flies by this fast I will be super sad. But anyway, lets get into those stories shall we.
Ya Elder did not make it into the MTC choir going to general conference, guess they didn't want this beautiful voice in there haha! Nah, 1600 missionaries signed up and they could only take 400. But a huge shout out to Elder Jackson for making it!! Everyone look for that handsome man on the television because I know I for sure will! Also know that all the songs they sing, I have sung and they are absolutely amazing.
It has been an amazing week but also kind of a stressful week, everyone in my district has received an email telling them that their visas are in washington dc right now except for me!! If I don't get it on time, I might be staying in the country just a bit longer! Kind of sad but also I know that Heavenly Father not only knows what is best for the people of the world, but also what is best for me. If the best thing for me is to serve a transfer in the states, then I will give it all I've got.
My district is the oldest of the zone now! All the new missionaries love us and we treat them all so well and we all get along so well. Last night we had a zone party because we gotta celebrate Pday eve and everyone brought out the food they had all gotten and man we could feed 2000. But we all sat and stood around and talked to each other and a lot of the elders shared their best stories. We all cried laughing and had an absolutely amazing time together! We closed up the party around 10:25 though but I had a lot of the new missionaries and a few of the older ones come up to me and say they were gonna cry when I left. Touching is an understatement. I love it here!
I've got one more week before I leave the MTC and I'm gonna put my whole heart into it. I'm so excited for all that is going to come! We finished up teaching our TRC investigator Hermana Perez and it was super sad. We had grown pretty close together since the first lesson when we choked. We talked a lot about prophets in these days and why they are important and invited her to watch general conference just as I am inviting all of you right now! Watch General Conference and take all you possibly can from it!
