ANOTHER WEEK IN THE KFC September 22, 2018

Yes its already been another week and its time for another update! some cool things happened this week! Ya Elder here has applied to go sing in the missionary choir that will be singing in General Conference! Ah how cool would that be to actually get to do that! I'll keep you updated, I found out next week if I actually get to go!

We were also graced by the presence of Neil L. Anderson for our devo on Tuesday night! It was super interesting because he actually based his talk around temples and he even told us that he had never talked about that subject at a devo in the MTC before. I loved all the words he said and I learned so much and felt the spirit so strong, but in all honesty, I think something his wife told us stood out to me a little more. "No one can take away your beliefs, unless you allow it. Will you allow it?" Friends and family back home. Trials are everywhere and are necessary and you must be strong in the faith and ever be growing your testimony. But remember no one can take away what you believe in unless you allow it. Will you allow it?

We are some of the oldest missionaries in our zone now and that means a lot of them look up to us! Yikes hahaha! We had a nice little party last night with our district where we all combined our treasures from our packages and had a feast. Lots of other missionaries from the other zones came and talked for a while, but its super weird being the ones that they ask for advice. Like we have been here longer but I still feel like im trying to get the hang of it haha! I love them all and we all have the best of times.

Kinda sad, our pull up challenge was shut down. I guess we were being a little too loud with it and the people going to Korea on the third floor of our building complained about it. RIP pull up challenge, but know that no one can beat ten. No one. We told our spanish teacher and she said "Dang Koreans" hahahaa!

I have also been nicknamed the Castidad. Which is chastity. Why? Because all the try hards keep their language books in the back of their pants so that they are ready to study in an instant. So I started walking around with the castidad pamphlet in my back.

Not much else to report on! Kind of same old same old. Always growing with the district and making the best of the time we have left here! Some missionaries that just left in our zone that were going to Ecuador actually got their visas so that gives us hope that we won't get reassigned to a state side mission for a transfer! I'll keep you updated on that as well!
