Wooohooo here we go everyone!
This week we got Hired! We were walking around a neighborhood and someone walked right up to us and said "hey I'm familiar with what you both do and I was wondering if you needed to make any extra money?" We explained that we don't work in this time and we saved the money up before. Don't think he understood that we don't work out here because then he said "well maybe while your going around preaching you could make some extra money by trying to sell house security as well!" COULD YOU IMAGINE!! Ah so bad!!! Like "we are coming around sharing a message that the two most important things for a safe house is God and Brinks Home Security!" I can't even believe someone thought that would be a good idea hahaha!!
We had an awesome miracle this week! We decided in weekly planning that we were going to start picking out a daily goal and praying about it all that day long. Yesterday we prayed that there would be a new person that came to church for the first time, and she came! And she loved it! After ward she told us that she was going to give us any freetime she has so that we can teach her More! How awesome it is to have people so prepared in the work that we are working with! Will keep you all updated on Maria I think she will be baptized fast!
Our baptisms for this month kind of fell through but all needed some more time to think about baptism but I'm positive all of them will be baptized in February! There are going to be tons in the future!
We were in elders quorum yesterday (switched because we had stake people visiting) and we were talking about how convert retention is crucial in the work. The man sitting next to me leaned over to me and said "you know what I like to eat when it's cold outside? Soup! Campbell's soup!" I couldn't stop myself from laughing i don't know why I was expecting a legit question hahaha!
I spotted my first gator in Florida! Score! Now just waiting for someone to feed us gator!
I learned this week as well that someone can bash with you all they want and can have every single type of doubt about the church, but they can not argue with a heartfelt testimony. No one can take away what you believe, unless you let them. Friends and family, hold strong to what you believe. Don't let anyone take that from you. Don't be afraid to testify. You aren't alone. The God of Angel armies is always by your side.
