GAS PRICES October 14, 2019

FRIENDS AND FAMILY what a week.

There was a lot of scripture studying, sleeping and monopoly this week. We weren't able to leave the house all that much because it got a little bad the situation here.... but in the house it was all safe. I've seen things...

I BEAT A LATIN IN SPANISH SCRABBLE. I think that qualifies me as fluent.

Sadly, the family couldn't get baptized this week because it was too dangerous outside to open the chapel. They are all very excited to get baptized this next week though!!!

The good news!! The indigenous talked to the president and they are going to lower gas prices. The riots stopped this morning. There are even buses going now!!! It's about time, the amount of rice and tuna and sardines I've eaten this last week because there isn't any food out here is insane.

I love you all so much!!! Thank you for all your prayers. The work continues in full force!

* We received an email from Hunter's mission president that things are calming down in Ecuador and that all of the missionaries are safe.  THANK YOU for your prayers!!!
