Family and friends- it's been a week!!!!!!!!!!
First off, I turn 1 this week on Thursday, festivities will be sent next week.
So, I got ingrown toenails and my mission presidents wife told me that I had to go to Guayaquil so that they could correct the problem. I was sitting there in the office to get it all done, when the lady walks into the room holding a scalpel and just walks up to my feet and doesn't even ask me how I was doing or what my name was, but just started cutting into my toe! No numbing, no warning, no nothing. You all know how like at the dentists office and the dentist asks you questions while they are working but you can't respond because they've got all their tools in your mouth? Well, the nurse lady finally asked what mission I was from and I yelped "GUAYAQUIL NORTH" she looked at me and was like, "Oh does this hurt?" with a ton of blood coming out of where she'd been cutting! I just looked at her and said yes. She put in numbing after that and now we are all good! Surgery in Ecuador, Check!
We had three people get baptized!!!!! Juan, Hilda, and Sebastion! When I got into the font to baptize Hilda, she basically jumped into the water because it was cold, just yelling "GO GO BAPTIZE ME ALREADY ITS COLD!" at least she was enthusiastic about it. I held her up out of the water to say the pray. I love these people so much!
I love you all so much! Thank you for all the amazing support you have given me in this amazing year of experiences!!!!! It's been so much fun and I'm so excited to keep up the stories. Here's to one more!
