PARAISO May 6, 2019

Family and Friends! This morning I hopped on a bus for four hours to Paradise! Otherwise known as Velencia, Quevedo. The most northern part of the mission! My companion Elder Farro and I are going to work so hard to keep this area with the title of the most baptisms in the mission! I cant wait to see the miracles that are going to come as we work with all our might!

This week was a bit down in the work. We found out that Josue was moving to Quito this week and that he wouldn't be able to meet with us anymore. Then we found a golden family! But they couldn't come to church so that was a little bummer. We had so many good plans for everyone this week but I know my old comp Elder Billings is going to baptize them all!

Adriana gave the closing prayer yesterday for sacrament meeting and then after she had her interview to go to the temple to do baptisms!!! They grow up so fast :,) It was rough saying goodbye to her. She was our last visit yesterday and I didn't tell her until the last 5 minutes because I knew she would cry. She cried. Bittersweet. Im excited for her and how strong she already is in the faith!!! Im even more excited to have more experiences like hers!!!

Not much more from Ecuador this week except for Im right next to the mountains so i feel right at home! even better is that there isn't a ton of light pollution here so the stars tonight are going  to be the best thing in the world! Im so excited to meet all the people here and to make so many great memories. I love the mission field so much.

Shout out to Brayden and Sav and everyone that took a picture with my cardboard midget!!!! Turned out so good ahhahahahaa!!!!!!
