How is it going everyone! Another week has gone by in the great Plant City!

I don't have much time but I do have some stories to share for sure!

First off! Jaquan

*knock knock*
"come in!!"
"oh.. okay, well we are the missionaries!"
"missionaries"
...
"well who do yall believe in?"
"Jesus Christ!"
"Ahh Come on in!"

What a contact haha! Not much has happened yet but we talked a lot about the book of mormon and how we got it and dang was he super interested in the coming of christ to the americas! we will see where that goes I am super excited for him!

This week was a great week! We kind of got discouraged on sunday though. We found a lot of new people this week but only 1 of them showed up to church! We are grateful for that one though. A young boy named Carlos who is only 11 but will be getting baptized on the 25th! We are going to play soccer with him later today so pictures will come with him next week!

Now for the story of Marshall:

We had taught him about 2 weeks ago and he had no interest at all. I kept thinking of him for some reason though. One day we passed by his trailer and we saw his son working on his car and we had a really good discussion with him and he had a lot of interest! So he invited us back to share more. He was never home when we came over though. One day we knocked again and Marshall answered the door and invited us in to talk some more. We had an amazing talk and then invited him to church and then he came and loved it! He said it was a little weird because it was only testimony meeting but it was also powerful. He then came to the book of mormon class that we teach on wednesdays and he had a lot of interest in everything we said and everything we read! We scheduled a time for Saturday to go back over and we taught the restoration focused on the priesthood authority and also the book of mormon. He asked a lot of questions but finally we got to the question of was his baptism from another church okay. We explained more of the authority, but we felt like we were losing him. Then out of nowhere He asked Us if he could be baptized into our church! We were caught so off guard! Like the moment off the movie the best two years haha!!! We set a date with him and we have more to teach him but I believe that he will come through with all of it! He is really interested in progression and I am super excited to talk to him more about the temple and ordinances! What a man!

I wish I could share every single detail of every single day in every single email, but thats about all the time I have for this week! As for how well my spanish is going, Just know that I can understand enough of it to know when they are making fun of how Gringo I look hahaha! I love the people they really are so nice and funny. Never a boring day here!

My comp and I just had a photo shoot and you all get to reap the rewards! My mom told me that I had to get a picture with the strawberry water tower. Pues, mi madre, alli esta la freza grande!

I love you all and I can't wait to share more in the weeks to come!
