Family! Friends! I have some news to start off the email session today! As of this moment, no one in my district has obtained a visa and we have all temporarily been re-assigned. We have sadly been torn around the country. I have temporarily been called to serve in the Florida Tampa mission! Even though we have all been looking forward to serving in Ecuador, we see this opportunity to serve in an extra area as a blessing. I am happy to go anywhere and serve the people of any place as long as I can see in them the happiness this gospel has brought to me.
3 Nephi 5:13
There is still a chance to get my visa before I leave though because my MTC stay has been extended almost a week and a half hahaha! Guess I needed some more of that study time. Updates will surely come on everything happening with my whereabouts! But know that I have been called to serve the Lord first and labor where the Lord needs. Maybe someone in Florida just really needs some Elder Campbell right now and dang are they gonna receive!
Its General Conference day and it is basically Christmas in the MTC! Of course talk has all been going around, the basic 2 hour church change, water is changed back to wine for the sacrament, but the most surprising that I heard by far, the sudden announcement of the second coming as the earth starts quaking... I mean anything is possible so if this is the last email God be with you till we meet again haha! In all serious though, President Nelson has said that there are going to be some amazing things announced in the sessions today so make sure that you watch intently and be ready for anything to come! All you future missionaries out there, make sure you especially watch and pay attention! Apparently some changes to missionary work are coming! No clue what that means exactly but like I am a missionary so that is pretty interesting!
alright one quick update: For the last few nights while I have been writing in my journal about to wrap things up, There has just been a random peanut M&M thrown at our door that explodes. I have yet to found out who it is or what they have against peanut M&M's but dang the first time it happened I think I almost fell out of my chair hahaha! Always have to expect the unexpected here in the MTC.
There's all I have for now! I will be on throughout the day and may even send out another mass email depending on some of the things we learn today! I love you all but know that God will always love you more!
Shout out to mi hijos who were jetted off to the Mexico MTC, love and miss you all and welcome to the mass email.
Shout out to my brother for snagging a job at the MTC and paying me a visit.
Shout out to my teachers Hermano Moore and Hermana Nelson for putting up with my district long enough to send us off haha!
